Athens Acropolis

Athens Acropolis is propably the most famous ancient greek monument. The Acropolis is located right at the heart of the city of Athens, and has stoode there for millenia. The Parthenon , a temple dedicated to Athena, the goddess of the city, was partly demolished a few hundred years ago, during a veneto-ottoman war, but it is standing, and it's now being re-constructed.
